Fall Family Photo Shoot!

I was so excited when I arrived at the park for this family's session and saw how colorful the leaves were!  And the mild, sunny weather was just as gorgeous as the leaves!

Pretty In Pink

I had a session with Hannah and her Dad in late August, but it was so hot and humid that day I didn't get as many good individual shots of Hannah as I would have liked.  Last weekend I had a mini reshoot with her and I'm really happy with the outcome.  She was so adorable in her little pink dress and she smiled wonderfully for me!

Little Troopers!

Despite a cool, breezy day and sleeping troubles the previous night...these little gals were troopers and did amazingly well during their photo session with Mom and Dad (and a few shots with grandma and grandpa too)!  I enjoyed my time with them very much!

Crazy Boy

All I did was walk into the back yard with camera-in-hand and Trevor immediately did his usual crazy thing!

Have You Ever Seen a Wheel Bug?!?

We've been seeing quite a few of these guys around the yard lately.  I even found one at work last week.  The wheel bug gets its name from the cog-like "wheel" on its back.  Reaching a length of one inch or more when fully-grown and sporting a large beak in addition to the trademark spiked wheel, they are rather intimidating in appearance.  I personally think they resemble a miniature version of the creatures in the Alien films!  Don't kill them, though...they prey on many harmful insect pests and are beneficial to have around.
